Ryanair scraps check-desks

As from 1 October, 2009 all check-in desks for Ryanair passengers will be scrapped and those with hold luggage must use the designated bag drops. New passengers who check-in online will be charged a web check-in fee of £5 per leg and those wishing to check-in bags will be charged £9.50 per bag per flight in addition to the £5 check-in fee. If passengers forget to print their boarding pass, they will be charged £40 at the airport.
